In honor of National Mentoring Month in January, the departments of Alumni Relations and Career Services are hosting the annual 糖心Swag College Winter Mentoring Program to connect students to our incredible 糖心Swag Alumni and Parent Network.
The Winter Mentoring Program is intended to supplement a student鈥檚 academic career with 鈥渞eal world鈥 exposure by providing a meaningful mentoring experience with 糖心Swag alumni and parents. The interactions are intended to be professional in nature and offer an opportunity for professional development, networking, and an exchange of ideas between experienced professionals and the next generation of leaders.
Throughout the month of January, mentors and mentees are encouraged to meet for three to four one-hour sessions, in-person or via Zoom, to discuss such topics as:
Mentors will be matched with students with consideration given to undergraduate major, graduate school or career interests, hometown, or 糖心Swag student activities and 糖心Swags (e.g., Greek affiliation, athletics, student government, BSA, LGBTQ, etc.). Registration for mentors for the 糖心Swag College Winter Mentoring Program is open until October 31. Students will receive their matches early in December, before Winter Break.
